Rachel & Will
We didn’t just buy Woodstock.
We fell in love with it.
The first time we came to see it, we felt exactly what so many of our couples tell us they feel - that immediate sense that this place is special. Warm. Inviting. Full of possibility.
Everything flows beautifully here.
Your ceremony, your drinks reception, your celebration - all in one thoughtfully designed space. It’s intimate without feeling small. Elegant without feeling formal.
There’s a kind of rustic elegance to Woodstock that’s hard to describe but impossible to miss. It’s been renovated to an exceptionally high standard, with weddings and events truly in mind - and we knew we wanted to be part of its next chapter.
And now, we get to share it with you.
But first, here's how we got here...
Rachel
Before Woodstock, Rachel worked as a solicitor for many years - managing complex projects, supporting clients through important life moments and working to tight deadlines. So wedding timelines don’t scare us at all!
But weddings had always been quietly calling.
Planning our own wedding back in 2018 sparked something in Rachel. It became one of those dream goals - the kind you don’t always say out loud because you’re not sure it will ever happen.
In early 2024, Rachel made the decision to step away from her legal career. When we found Woodstock, she just knew. This was it.
Will
Will’s background is in hospitality and bar management (with a chapter as a Drama teacher too!). He’s wanted to run his own bar or venue since first working in bars back in 2008 - although that dream was put on hold for a while.
The moment he saw Woodstock - especially the cocktail bar - he was completely convinced.
It's safe to say, it was love at first sight!
What we do at Woodstock
Rachel leads as our Events Co-ordinator, guiding couples from their first viewing right through to the big day itself.
Will manages the bar, facilities and operations — making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes (and that the cocktails are exactly as they should be).
We ran 23 weddings last year alone, so while this was a dream for us, we absolutely know what we’re doing.
We genuinely love getting to know our couples - and their families too.
From those early planning conversations to the final song of the night, we’re there. Supporting, coordinating and celebrating with you.
Rachel can reliably be found tearing up during ceremonies (and sometimes speeches… and occasionally first dances too).
There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a celebration come together and knowing we’ve given everything to it. Hearing your feedback afterwards means the world to us.
Woodstock isn’t just a venue to us.
It’s a place where stories begin, families gather and unforgettable days unfold.
And we feel incredibly proud to be part of that.
